Everything's Good For Now
We got the full results back from the screen today. Our risks are in range for both babies - 1/1001 for DS and lower still for Trisomy 13 and 18. Now, how exactly the risks for DS are the same for both babies I haven't a clue, since the measurements were different - unless the blood results are very heavily weighted. We're of course relieved and delighted. I suspect this won't be the last time we have a scare so we may as well get used to it now, right?

Yay! That is great news! I know, there will always be something to worry about...but you are doing great:-)
ReplyDeleteI say toss all your worries out the window, you're a fine specimen of a woman and you know those embryos are perfect. Worrying does more harm than good. Says the old woman.
ReplyDeleteLove you, Ginny
Whew and again whew... I couldn't see how you could possibly have a real problem given all the testing and preparation of both parents and both embryos but where there's a worry to be found, one will find it. We now know that Baby B has my small snub nose (poor boy)!
ReplyDeleteFabulous news!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got good news and no, I don't think the worry ever goes away! We'll always find something to worry about :)
ReplyDeleteJessica - So thrilled for you both. Sorry haven't your husband's name. Just got the news from your Mum and the link to your blog. So thankful that you did not leave it TOO late and wish you and your 'chicks' and easy ride from here until Delivery Day. Very much love Jill
